Stop Eating Before You Feel Full

It takes approximately 20 minutes before the stomach can tell that the brain is full. Mindful eating is a great way to lose weight because you effectively cut down the calories that you normally consume. If you don’t have sweets in your home, you are less likely to consume them or at least think twice before eating them since you would have to make a special trip to give in to your temptation.

Losing weight isn’t an easy feat but with hard work and dedication, you can do it. I have been on my on weight loss journey and things got crazy in my household a few weeks ago. I plan on getting back on the wagon once things slow down. Two weeks ago we had new floors put in our house and we had to do a ton of cleaning, ect in preparation for that. When they did the flooring, they kicked up a ton of dust and it set my allergies off. I thought that I was getting better last week and after I took my Humira injection, things went downhill. I went to the doctor yesterday because I was coughing so much and was having a hard time breathing at night. Thankfully, my allergy symptoms haven’t turned into a sinus infection or bronchitis. Since I am on an immunosuppressant, I have to be super careful when I start coming down with a cold or illness. I was told that I should get to the doctor fairly quickly when I feel sick because my immune system can’t kick an illness on its own.

  3. These are great tips. I have been drinking a lot more water and can feel a difference in my skin. I need to start eating slower. I am always the last to sit down and the first one finished.

  4. Stop eating before I’m full is my big one. I love all the food we make so I always end up over eating, even though it’s usually pretty healthy. Also, avoid drinking your calories.

  5. Staying Hydrated is so hard for me. I am always forgetting to drink water and when I do remember I still don’t drink enough. It seems like I should try to carry a water bottle with me. Like you said drinking water can make you feel full.
