Finally, it also releases fatty acids into your blood. Fatty acids cause cholesterol and insulin levels to spike in your body which paves the way for various diseases like hypertension, diabetes, and heart problems.

Over time as you continue to let your body go through plenty of stress, there is a good chance that you will gain weight especially belly fat.

How to Speed Your Metabolism

For you to speed your metabolism up and start reducing belly fat, you would have to stay away from stress as much as you can. Try to do some things that you enjoy such as going on a fishing trip, playing basketball, watching movies, camping, watching movies and so on. Ultimately, if you enjoy what you are doing, then there is a big chance that your metabolism rate would be increased giving you an opportunity to lose weight.

Having fun and relaxing allows your body to release endorphins naturally. Endorphins are a type of neurotransmitters that stimulates your senses to make you feel better. They act as a messenger that tells your brain that you are happy.
