My Weight Loss Journey - Week 2

I am super excited to share with you my weight loss journey – week 2: that I have lost 2 lbs.

My current weight is 221.

I stayed on track with logging everything I ate into MyFitness Pal. My goals are to start including more vegetables into my diet. I didn’t eat as many as I should have this past week. I want to lose the weight slowly so that I am more likely to stick to it once I hit my goal weight of 150 lbs.

Here are my current goals for this week:

  • eat more vegetables – I still need to work on this
  • continue my physical therapy exercises at home on days that I don’t go to physical therapy
  • continue eating 1600 calories or less a day
  • drink more water every day – I did good a few days and this is still a work in progress for me.
  • continue taking 2 burpless fish oil capsules

  1. I love the My Fitness Pal app. I use it to document my food diary. And drinking a ton of water is so important!! I carry around a gallon jug to drink throughout the day.

  2. I know it’s not easy, but you girl! I like you train of thought of loosing it slowly so that you stick to it! I need to learn more about nutrition so that I can loose some weight and exercise more.

  3. Congratulations on losing two pounds. I think it’s a great idea to list everything, so it’s easier for you to keep track of your progress. Good luck on your weight loss journey.

  4. You’re doing great! The hardest part is consistency, and it sounds like you’re doing well with that. I log my food with Sparkpeople and while I’ve done awesome in the past, I’ve had a hard time remembering to log every day right now. And … you can tell. The days when I don’t log are so much worse than the days when I do!

  5. I have been trying to eat healthier this year. I am down 16 pounds so far. It is so hard to remember to eat often during the day. I look forward to following you on your weight loss journey.

  6. I’m not trying to lose weight because I am already skinny, but it’s also in my goal to eat more veggies and drink more water. Good luck in your goals!
